List of the Required Personal Documents:

You might be able to apply to change (‘switch’) to a Start-up visa if you’re already in the UK on a different type of visa.

Your partner or children will need to apply separately to switch their visa. They can either apply at the same time as you, or at any time before their current visa expires.

Who can not change his visa?
You cannot switch to this visa if you have one of the following:

a visit visa
a short-term student visa
a Parent of a Child Student visa
a seasonal worker visa
a domestic worker in a private household visa
immigration bail
permission to stay outside the immigration rules, for example on compassionate grounds

378 Pound for the main applicant and 378 for his life partner or kids

In case you are applying for changing the visa status inside the UK, cost will be 508 Pound instead of 378 for each visa applicant and its dependants

The visa will be issued for 2 years, from the time of Issuance of the Visa.
Note: Many ask if the starting time is from the date of signing the agreement with the Endorsing body? the Answer is no. From the date that your visa is issued.

Note: since you receive the Endorsing letter you have maximum three month to pass the required documents to Embassy and apply for visa.

The Startup visa, allows you to reside in the UK for two years. However, if you are planning for obtaining the permanent residency, you should stay 5 years in UK. the first two years by Startup visa and the next three years through Innovator Visa.

1. Every 6 month Home Office checks your progress with Endorsing Body.
2. Every month you have to give report of progress to your mentor in the incubators or endorsing bodies.

The Start-up visa does not directly lead to ILR. However, time spent in this category does count towards the 10 year Long Residence route. Furthermore, if an applicant successfully switched from Start-up to Innovator, they could be eligible to apply for Settlement after 3 years on the Innovator visa.

Yes, you have the permit to work on any other businesses that you like at the same time that you work on your startup visa.

The process of polishing and preparing your business plan takes upto three weeks and the process of getting endorsed by the endorsing body will take around one month. so the process will be approximately 2 month.
After that you sign a contract with the incubator and pass some initial qualifying courses. then the endorsing body issues the Letter of Endorsement to you.

you family members can apply at the same time as you apply and you can come with your spouse and under 18 YO children at the same time to UK.

The costs ranges between 0 Pound upto 1000 Pound per month for the services that your mentor give to you.
