Work (including employment, self-employment, and volunteer work) is permitted in the UK startup Visa program(except for employment as a professional sportsperson or sports coach). Working in other businesses in addition to your startup is permitted under the UK Startup Visa program. In this program, you are allowed to work on any other businesses you want while working on your startup visa.
About Work permission
According to the UK government website, you can:
- Get a second job while working on your own startup.
- Change from another visa category to this one.
- Bring your family to the UK with you.

- Work as a trainee or trainee dentist
- Work as a professional athlete
- and apply for social benefits
It should be noted that a UK Startup Visa does not grant indefinite leave to remain. However, at the end of the two years, you will be able to apply for additional leave to remain under the UK Innovator Visa category and continue to develop your business. You may be eligible for settlement under the Innovator Visa route after another three years.
