Through years of our activities with the UK Startup Visa Endorsing Bodies, we can guarantee the acceptance of the businesses that pass our selection, modification, or preparation process.

The Start-up visa does not directly lead to ILR. However, time spent in this category does count towards the 5-year Long Residence route. Furthermore, if an applicant successfully switched from Start-up to Innovator, they could be eligible to apply for Settlement after 3 years on the Innovator visa.

Every 6 months, Home Office checks your progress with Endorsing Body

UK startup visa will not provide you a residency permit but granted a two-year Visa. However, you can apply for other types of residence permits when you enter with the UK Startup Visa. If you live in the UK for five years you intend to apply for permanent status. a startup visa for the first two years, and an innovator visa for the following three years.

The visa will be issued for 2 years, from the time of Issuance of the Visa.
Note: Many ask if the starting time is from the date of signing the agreement with the Endorsing body. the answer is no. From the date that your visa is issued.

The main fees are, Visa Fee (378£), Endorsment charges and Insurance health surcharge (1248£) that should be paid to the related bodies.

You might be able to apply to change (‘switch’) to a Start-up visa if you’re already in the UK on a different type of visa. Your partner or children will need to apply separately to switch their visa. They can either apply at the same time as you, or at any time before their current visa expires.
