Duration of the UK Startup Visa
The visa will be issued for 2 years, from the time of Issuance of the Visa. Note: Many ask if the starting time is from the date of signing the agreement with the Endorsing body. the answer is no. From the date that your visa is issued.

Note: since you receive the Endorsing letter you have a maximum of three months to pass the required documents to Embassy and apply for the visa.

The initial visa is valid for 2 years and does not require an initial capital investment. During this visa period, applicants are expected to spend most of their time developing their businesses. Applicants can also take up other jobs outside their own business to make ends meet. After two years, start-up visa holders can change to the Innovator visa category to extend their stay and further develop their business in the UK.
